Sending joy for the holiday

Amy here with my weekly 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store card creation. For today's card I inked up Pretty Lil Present from Whimsy Stamps in Desert Sand ink so I could do some no-line coloring with her. The papers I pulled are from an older Simple Stories paper pad and I tried to match my Copics to the dark, elegant colors in it. I don't know if this is a gift she has just received or if she just finished wrapping it for someone special, either way this pretty lil gal seems to be full of Christmas spirit. And did I mention that Pretty Lil Present is part of the Christmas clearance sale that is currently running? Yep, Kelly is making room on the shelves with a 30% off all Halloween and Christmas sale, all you have to do is type in SPLURGE at check out. :)

Alrighty, well the November challenge just wrapped up but be sure to check back here tomorrow when December's challenge kicks off! That $20 gift certificate could make for a nice little 'treat yo self' present! ;)

The Greeting Farm's Feels

Happy Monday everyone! It's Joni here, with a non-holiday card, but definitely a sentiment we could use this time of year! ;)
For my card I used the adorable image from The Greeting Farm Feels and words from Tiny Plans:

This cutie is so tiny and sweet, but she's definitely comfortable in the spotlight. I colored her up with Copics and paired her with some paper scraps. All the little words in Tiny Plans are perfect for encouragement in cards and planners:

You can find all of The Greeting Farm stamps right here at the 7 Kids Craft Store, happy crafting everyone!

Happy Friday! Cynthia here to share a Christmas card today. The temperatures have been in the 70s lately and I am so glad it has dipped low enough to remind me it’s wintertime! This means hot chocolate, holiday parties and reindeer antlers. :) This big eyed cutie and sentiment  is from The Greeting Farm. I colored her up with Copics to match the patterned paper and paper bow, placed an  antler cap on her perfectly coiffed head and called her done!

Christmas Greetings

Amy here with my weekly 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store card creation. This time around I have paired up a couple of the newer Greeting Farm stamps to create a magical winter scene. I am a huge fan of these darling big eyed girls and I really wanted to make this Best Friends set work on a Christmas card. The way she is looking off to the side I figured she could be sharing a magical holiday moment in the woods with one of Santa's reindeer from the Merry and Bright set. I wanted the reindeer to be looking back up at her so I grabbed my handy mirror image stamp to flip the reindeer to the left like I needed. Now I had the scene that I had envisioned in my head and I was ready to color. The birch forest was inspired by Sandy Allnock and I just used my Copic markers to sketch in the trees and snowy grass. It looks like the perfect place for some Christmas magic to happen if you ask me. :)

Alrighty, there is still one more week to play along in the November 'anything goes' challenge so be sure to get crafty and join in! Also don't miss out on the special sale Kelly has going on right now, just use the code JOY to save 20% on orders over $25 until Wednesday 12/6 at midnight.

Penguin Party

Happy Monday everyone! It's Joni here with a little bit of a late posting. 😊We took out all of our Christmas bins this weekend and the mess spilled into my tiny craft room. After clearing out some of the ornaments, hooks, garland, and snowmen, I finally had a bit of space to finish up this cutie from C.C. Designs Roberto's Rascals Penguin Party from the 7 Kids store:

I colored him up with Copics, then paired him with Doodlebug Designs Milk & Cookies paper. If you all are looking for a fun paper pad this winter season, this one is it! With so many whimsical patterns and cute characters in their designs, it's hard not to hoard. 😉
Roberto's Rascals Penguin Party comes with 4 penguin friends and an ice block - and they're all so adorable:
Have a great rest of your week everyone, there's so many fun releases coming up that will be available in the 7 Kids store - be sure to keep up with all the fun on the 7 Kids Facebook Page!

Honey Bee Stamps: Season's Tweetings

Happy Sunday everyone! Have you checked out the 7 Kids Crafting Supply Store lately? There is so much variety in the store now and new lines are being added regularly! Two of the things that makes 7 Kids stand out are their outstanding customer service and fast shipping. If you ever need anything or want something that you don't see, reach out to Kelly and she will help you!

Today, I'm featuring a new line we recently added called Honey Bee Stamps!! The stamps and dies are amazing! I LOVE all of the sets and added a bunch to my collection so you're going to be seeing me featuring these for a while, WOO HOO! With Christmas around the corner, I needed some cute art to display in some 8x10 frames around the house. So I decided to use these adorable birds from the Season's Tweetings Stamp Set to make something cute and simple! This set is HUGE....6x8 and comes with some awesome sentiments! Aren't they adorable!!

In sticking with the simple theme, I didn't do any shading. I stamped the birds on kraft paper and pulled out my glitter gel pens (that have just been sitting and collecting dust, haha). The sentiment is from the Season's Tweeting set and I just embossed it with gold embossing powder. The patterned paper is from Simple Stories Very Merry 6x8 Paper Pad. I plan on putting this in an 8x10 frame, which I still need to get.

Don't forget about our current ANYTHING GOES Challenge on the 7 Kids Challenge Blog. Just click on the link on the Challenge Blog (right side bar) to upload your card for a chance at winning a $20 gift certificate to the store! We will also be starting a new challenge on our Facebook Group soon!

Have a great Sunday!

It's the one thing that gives us hope for the brighter tommorrow! So my dear friends... never stop Believing! I used gorgeous Wild Orchid crafts flowers for the project, that you can of course find in 7 kids your crafting supply store! If you haven't tried them out yet, go and order some to play! I can guarantee you will absolutely love them!

Enjoy the day and see you soon! Hugs, Aleksandra

Have a holly jolly holiday!

Amy here and it's time for a new 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store card creation. 7 Kids recently began working with Patricia Alvarez of Kinda Cute Stamps to start turning some of her wonderful digi designs into clear stamps. For my card today I have inked up the Kinda Cute Santa Claus with Presents in desert sand ink so I could play with some no-line coloring. I did this because I wanted to add a few more facial features to Santa and really bring him to life. Once I had him colored up it was time to figure out what kind of scene to put him in. So I asked my sister for advice and she suggested that he be up on a roof top getting ready to go down a chimney. I loved the story that would tell and it was a nice challenge to figure out the perspective on that chimney. Oh... and I usually color on Copic X-Press It card stock but I recently got my hands on some Curious Metallics Cryogen white cardstock to try out and I gotta say, I kinda love it! The Copic ink goes on so smooth, blending beautifully and the card stock has a subtle iridescent shimmer to it that makes the finished card positively sparkle and shine. I used the Cryogen to color this Christmas scene on and I think I might be seriously addicted because the end result is so pretty in person.

Alrighty, there is still a couple weeks to play along in the November 'anything goes' challenge so be sure to play along for the chance to win a $20 gift certificate!.

"Always take time" tags

Hi my dear friends! It's Aleksandra from Papermade fairytale with you today again. I love making tags... do you? And did you know that Pion Design papers are just about perfect for it, because they have so many gorgeous images just about the right size to use them as a focal point. If you embellish them with the gorgeous Wild Orchid flowers you can find in Kelly's shop, you get the most perfect outcome. Some time back I made three lovely tags with some Pion Design collections and loved them so much I made another "fresh" one again today to share with you! Hope you'll like it!

May your days be merry

Hi crafty friends, it's Amy with my Tuesday post and it's a special Tuesday because it's also my birthday! I thought about making a birthday card for my 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store creation in honor of the big day but I'm just having too much fun with Christmas cards to stop now. So instead I grabbed the Sing Hello stamp set from TGF and colored up this adorable winter kiddo. She's one of the My Kids, whom I love. Something about them looks like squishy, soft marshmallows and I just want to pinch their round cheeks. She was perfect with the fun and colorful prints in the Santa Stops Here paper pad from Bella Blvd. The two came together into a little shaker card in no time!

Now don't forget the monthly challenge over on the 7 Kids blog. There is plenty of time to get creative and enter in for a chance to win the $20 gift certificate!

Copic markers:
skin- E000, E00, E11, E04, R00, R20

Little Snowman

Happy Monday everyone!
It's such a ch-ch-ch-chilly morning here in South Carolina. ⛄
We're definitely moving into the winter season so I thought I'd color up the adorable C.C. Designs Swiss Pixie Little Snowman:

I colored her up with Copics, using the no border technique,
then cut out  a panel using the C.C. Designs Creative Basics Die.
I used the sweet Doodlebug Designs Milk & Cookies line to pull the colors together.

You can find this adorable image and so much more wonderful products at the store. Go ahead and spoil yourself before the holidays! You deserve it. 😉
Happy crafting everyone!

Simple Florals

Hey everyone! Jessie here on the blog with you all today, I owe you all videos! But currently I broke my computer and am using my sons. I will be back soon!

So for today I have a super CAS one layer card to share with you all. Featuring some awesome stamps from Altenew. I love that the 7 Kids store carries such a great variety of florals for all my wants!

I stamped and masked off my florals on a cardbase made from Bristol Smooth cardstock, then coloured using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a little bit of water. I added a little bit of a drop shadow just for some extra dimension. The sentiment tucked in with those florals perfectly to finish off this card.

Thanks for stopping by,
hugz,
Jessie
